Administrators are users can access more functions than normal users and help the wiki.
Abilities[]
- Blocking users and IP address from editing who are not following our policies.
- Protecting pages so only autoconfirmed users, content moderators, and Admins can edit, move, or create it.
- Content Moderators can also protect pages.
- Protecting the site to prevent any edits for up to 12 hours.
- Deleting a page.
- Content Moderators can also do this.
- Revert any edits with the “rollback” quicker than undo, but rollback should only be used for vandalism or other inappropriate disruption.
- Rollbacks and Content Moderators can also do this.
- They can do more.
Recommended for Administrators[]
Administrators should go to Recent Changes to identify who needs to be blocked, warned, or any edits that need to be reverted when a rollback is not active or online). The minimum options for Admins who check Recent Changes are:
- 100 changes
- 3 days
- Show minor edits (this is because some users who vandalize mark edits as minor so there will be a less chance Admins will see it)
- Show bots (in case the abuse filter blocks a user who triggered a filter in error)
